Hello sweetie!
Hi! I’m Leah Wafful, a serial entrepreneur who enjoys bringing creative and innovative ideas to my community! Also the owner and founder of two other well known brands, Bronze515 and Waffles and Whip. The Sugared Bug came about when I stumbled upon a vintage bug I needed to rent for an event I was hosting. Long story short, I didn’t want to just rent this bug, I wanted to own it! Then the idea hit me! Why not make this a business! I purchased a 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle from the suburbs of Minneapolis, unseen. Had it shipped to me and well the rest is history. I began this journey of creating the cutest mobile candy cart + event rental options for your next event.

Can we rent the Bug for something other than a candy concept?
Yes! We allow for the Bug to be rented for many different types of events as a prop, a focal point or a backdrop! Reach out and let us know your idea and we can chat through in more detail!
How can we secure our date and what is the process?
A 50% deposit is required and a signed contract to reserve your date. Please fill out our contact form and we will be in touch to discuss next steps!
What type of candy can we expect at our event?
We have many types and it's always changing! If you have a special request, we will do our best to make it happen for you! It’s easiest for us to know what you like/don’t like and we will bring the goods!
